Who would have thought that something so small, designed to be good for the environment and stop climate change could also be so amazingly beautiful.

This blog is run for my love of design and I greatly appreciate anybody who reads my posts, so thank you! I also work for a digital agency and on some occasions some of my writing may be related to clients.

When/where are these bulbs available and how much are they? Yes, it’s beautiful!

I don’t think the pictured bulb is real, as most LED bulbs I’ve seen have multiple diodes, and look much more complex, while this bulb only has one diode, it would not be very bright at all.
The sad thing is I find this design much more attractive than what LED bulbs are currently looking like. I believe if standard LED bulbs looked more like the pictured bulb above, they would be much more attractive to buyers and would be more quickly accepted into the mainstream, and consumer households.

This bulb has to be just for demonstration! The LED wattage has not gotten as high as appears in the photo! Although nice, it will be some time before the power (light output) of a single LED will be anywhere close to a 100 watt bulb, not even a 50 watt for that matter!
The cost is outrageous for the new led bulbs! Hopefully, it will drop drastically when we are forced to buy them. The new cfl s are getting more reasonable as time goes on. They just don’t all last the lengty of the stated time. I have all my house fitted with the cfl s, only one lasted for the warranty period! Started installing them when they first came out.
Would be great if they were larger wattage than 150 that I can find. I use them for outside security lighting for the cameras.
